I'm a little confusing on the matter...
I would prefur NKJV, but I normally use NIV, however I trust KJV the most...
I trust KJV the most, prefer it the most and use it the most.
I have a Chronological Bible that is in NTL that I think is entertaining because it reads like a novel.

Re: What Version do you prefer?
I prefer the KJV and versions which use the same family of source texts on which the KJV is translated from. I also like the MKJV by JP Green and the YLT for much the same reason.

Re: What Version do you prefer?
I prefer the KJV and have found that while I it was confusing to me way back when I first started reading the Bible, now I find it relatively easy. If I do get confused as to the meaning of a passage, I then will look it up in my NIV, or my Bible Handbook. Which just adds to the quality of my study time.

Re: What Version do you prefer?
Well, I think I have a new favorite. I've been reading a MacArthur Study Bible in the New American Standard.
It reads easily and is well known as a very accurate translation. John MacArthur includes a lot of notes and commentary, as well as some great study tools.

Re: What Version do you prefer?
I also like the KJV, it's the only Bible I have read, and I did read the whole Bible, but I must admit, I didnt understand a lot, but i'm sure our GOD will bring it's understanding when needed.

Re: What Version do you prefer?
Both the NASB and ESV are claiming to be the most accurate translation now! I am wondering how this can be...
