Re: curious
Good question.
The short answer is..."I don't know"
I'm not sure that the bible even indicates who was Pharoh of Egypt at the time.

Re: curious
I don't think it does either. Some hot shot scientist/ historians may have it all figured out. Remasees (very bad spelling) was many many years later, moses's time right?

Hmm, not sure.
Why don't you start by trying to nail down a decade for Moses to be in Egypt.
Since it is summer, a little homework wont hurt you.

Re: curious
well I have been looking... so far all I can think of is his name may have simply been pharaoh
found out there is much info on potiphar though... not what I was looking for but I think this little quest of mine is a dead end...

Re: curious
My thought (purely unscientific) would be the pharaoh who worshipped only one God (the sun god I believe). He was married to Naphtali. He was like the father/grandfather of Tut. The time line between him and Ramasee is about right. Of course I haven't studied the issue so I could be entirely off.

Re: curious
This is about the cleanest timeline and suggestion on who the Pharoah was in the lifetime of Moses...
